From January 7 to 31, 2025, a series of 7 destructive wildfires affected the Los Angeles metropolitan area in California, United States. As of January 31, 2025, the wildfires have killed at least 29 people, forced more than 200,000 to evacuate, and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and structures.
Neuro Youth club members organized a donation drive to assist the people impacted by the wildfires. On January 18th, the Neuro Youth Club donated the gathered goods and volunteered at the Santa Anita YMCA which was one of the distribution centers near the Eaton Fire. Not only the people affected by the fires but also other disadvantaged people such as the elderly and disabled came and took necessities such as food, clothing, and toiletries.
